Code of conduct
WELCOME NEW PLAYERS
We love it when new players come along to play! Remember, we have all been new at some point, either to D&D in general or to AL specifically. Be mindful and helpful towards new players. Help them both before, during and after the game, and be constructive towards them.

SHOW UP ON TIME
Life happens. However, do your best to show up a little ahead of time, and have the information you need ready at hand. Upload (if online) or make sure your character and token is ready before game start. If you need help with this, don't hesitate to reach out to the DM or the community.

TABLE MANNERS
At the playing table it is expected that you are present and engaged in what is going on in the game. Avoid talking with the other players about irrelevant topics and keep relevant talk at a mimimum so the active player and the DM are not disturbed. Important phone calls are to be taken away from the table and play area as a whole; avoid disturbing any of the other tables while talking as well. Stay focused on the game. Try to prepare your next action for when it is your turn. Avoid discussions on rules – during play, it’s DMs discretion and any doubts or contested calls are cleared up after the game. Remember, we are all only human beings, and mistakes happen – and remember, it’s just a game.

HARASSMENT OF ANY SORT IS NEITHER ACCEPTED NOR TOLERATED
Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive comments and actions related to gender, expression, age, sexual orientation, physical appearance, race, disability, ethnicity, and religion. It also includes displaying sexual images, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography, disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Be mindful of this in-character as well. Even though roleplaying some conflicts can be entertaining, our goal at the table is to experience the story and your character’s actions should help drive the story forward.

AVOID INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR
Refrain from initiating or continuing inappropriate conversations, malign ridiculing (if you are asked to stop, this is to be followed immediately), coerce other players to play or behave in a different way or exercising other negatively laden or hurtful behavior. If you experience any of the above or similar, kindly try to talk it out quietly in a corner with the offensive part or reach out to an organizer.

As we invite players of all ages welcome, please be mindful on keeping content on a level where everybody can feel safe. However, some games can be marked 18+. Unless you’re at such a table, and everyone present has agreed to it, no explicit sexual descriptions and hateful language is allowed, and foul language should be avoided; be respectful towards the others at the table. At tables marked 18+, DMs are particularly encouraged to use safety tools.

ACCOMODATIONS DUE TO DISABILITIES
Please let us know ahead of time if you have any disabilities or other situations that require special accommodations. We will try our best to set up a game to meet your needs. At the same time, we are a small community and might not have the resources. The further ahead of time you let us know, the higher the chance we can find a solution.

HOW TO REPORT A PROBLEM
You are welcome to try to resolve the issue yourself. If this does not help or is not an option, feel free to try your DM at the table – eventually ask the DM to step away from the table with you. You are also empowered to reach out directly to one of the organizers, who will then help you with the issue. If you choose to go to the organisers, you should know that you are taken 100% seriously and you will be treated with 100% anonymity. Our organizers care about your safety and work to protect it. You can also report anonymously here: https://forms.gle/MdYyChqMqQSC1rTe8

The organisers should be easily recognisable by distinct coloured t-shirts or reflective vests for physical games, or announced on the discord server for online events.

Players, DMs or staff violating the Code of Conduct might be removed from the game and depending on the severity might result in a ban from future games.
